Traits are special attributes randomly assigned to Animons. Each Animon can possess one trait - either a standard trait or a rare hidden trait.
Standard Traits
Adventurous Spirit
Raises Speed by one stage when facing a higher-level opponent in battle.

Pirate's Resolve
Boosts Attack and Defense by one stage when HP drops below 50%.

Energy Absorption
Has a chance to absorb incoming special energy attacks, increasing own Special Attack stat.

Hidden Traits
Hidden traits are unique abilities that apply to specific Animons only. These traits are rare and provide powerful effects.
Rubber Resilience
Complete immunity to Electric attacks. Also provides increased resistance to physical melee attacks.

Elastic Body
Raises evasion by one stage upon entering battle, making it more difficult for enemies to land hits.
